Lobster Bot collects minimal user data to enable cross-platform conversation syncing across web, iOS, and Android apps. This policy explains what data we process, how it's secured, and your rights under Canadian privacy laws like PIPEDA.

Data We Collect

We store user account details (username), messages from your conversations with Lobster Bot, and associated emails solely in a secure database on our VPS hosted in Canada. No other personal information is collected—no payment details, location, or device identifiers beyond what's needed for sync. Data is retained only until you delete specific conversations or your entire account.

How We Use Data

Your messages and emails enable conversation history syncing across all platforms under the same username. We do not use this data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or train AI models without explicit consent. Lobster Bot is an AI-powered service: conversations are processed automatically by AI systems (potentially including third-party providers like OpenClaw wrappers), and responses are generated by machine learning—not human review. Do not share sensitive personal, medical, or legal information, as AI outputs may contain inaccuracies.

Security and Storage

All data resides on a secured VPS with industry-standard encryption, access controls, and backups. As a Canadian company, we comply with PIPEDA and BC privacy standards, ensuring data stays within secure Canadian hosting.

Sharing and Disclosure

We never share your data with third parties except as required by law (e.g., court order). No analytics partners or advertisers access raw messages.

Your Rights and Deletion

Request access, correction, or deletion of your data anytime via contact@lobster-bot.com. Accounts and conversations are fully deletable, removing all stored data within 30 days. Users under 13 are not permitted; we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to Policy

We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
